Palma Suites

Palma Suites is the first 4 star aparthotel which was opened in spring 2013 in Plaza Mercadel in the heart of old city. The concept was developed by Swedish entrepreneur Peter Ödlund, who wanted to offer visitors a base for year round living and the possibility to stay for long periods at an economical rate combining the experience of living in the old city with all the modern day comforts of your own home.

Palma Suites comprises 35 apartments for rental for 3 days up to longer stays of a month or more. Each suite is equipped with modern kitchens, bathrooms and a minimum of one bedroom with a living room with eating and lounge areas. The lounge areas are available with sofa beds, ideal for family gatherings during extended stays. Each apartment also has space for storage. The suites are cleaned on a weekly basis and all towels and linen are provided.

Washing machines and dryers are included in the larger apartments and all the suites feature a dishwasher, oven/hob, toaster, fridge/freezer, an expresso coffee machine, a kettle, crockery and cutlery. There’s high speed internet and TV/IT entertainment system from Samsung Smart TV offering on demand film and sports channels and the large wall mounted flat screens have integrated SKYPE capability.

There are five types of accommodation ranging in size from 34 – 75 sqm. The top of the range, Penthouse Supreme suites offer easy access to the building’s rooftop terrace with views over the old town and use of a small heated swimming pool and landscaped lounge area.

Other communal facilities include a laundry room, fitness centre, bistro and breakfast lounge, reception and concierge service. Guests can also take advantage of the special storage service to store their belongings safely until their next visit.

Winter rental rates (up to March 31st, 2015) start at 700€ per week for a Junior Suite to 1,700€ per month (4 weeks). Summer rates (up to October 31st, 2015) start at 1,100 € per week and from 2,650 € per month in a Junior Suite. Prices include local tax and are based on two people sharing an apartment. Rates are also available for shorter stays for a minimum of 3 nights.
